And paul goerg is the name in-the-know champagne fans turn to for value and finesse. In 1950 nineteen producers joined together with the aim of producing a truly outstanding champagne. Word of mouth success means the company now tends 120 hectares of premier cru vineyards in the cote des blancs and around champagne. And the name paul goerg comes from the eminent regional councillor and mayor of vertus, where the cellar is based, from the 19th century. He was very proud of the region, greatly attached to its terroir and would have been delighted this! |
