The textbooks would not point to robertson as the most suitable location for producing high class sauvignon blanc. The near desert climate seems more apt for cactus than vine cultivation, but somehow the whites from this area seem to thrive and make brilliantly clean and vibrant examples of crisp sauvignon. Try chilled with a plate of asparagus. |
