A new style of madeira made from 50% bual and 50% malmsey, noble grape varieties found on the splendid sub-tropical island which gives its name to madeira. Produced in the traditional 'canteiro' fashion: the wine matures in warmlofts and is then moved to lower, cooler, cellar locations prior to bottling. Try with nuts, sticky puddings or blue cheeses. |
