Sturdy, spicy with a touch of prunes, raisins and coffee beans. A rich, ripe mouthful of wild berry fruit. Gorgeous - definitely a glass you can't refuse. And the maritime climate on the largest island in the med means the local grapes benefit from cooling sea breezes, allowing flavours to build up. Uncork and enjoy with red meat - like braised beef - and strong, mature cheeses. Velvety and well balanced, this is a wine drinking perfectly right now! |
