Seven years ago, englishmen david and ian smith - both passionate about their wines - brought this little idyll in the middle of the bordeaux countryside. It was the exciting culmination of years of study and effort. Now, with the help of bordeaux-trained oenologist jean louis vinolo, ian creates a fresh, modern-style bordeaux white with lovely crisp fruitiness. A classic 'recipe' of mostly sauvignon blanc with one quarter peachy semillon - it's guaranteed to delight! "mouthwatering with apple aromas, citrusy peach and pear flavours and a hint of tropical fruit. The wine certainly hits the spot as a glass on its own, but is also a must with fruits de mer, salads or vegetable risotto." |
