To find it we had to trek 7 hours' across desert from mendoza - and climb a whopping 3280 feet above sea level (in a car admittedly). Another textbook vintage - little rain and a long ripening period have made for an exceptionally ripe pinot grigio laden with orchard fruit and melon flavours.
