Domaine thibert, founded 1967 in the village of fuisse where the family produce a quality pouilly fuisse but also make a small quantity of pouilly vinzelles from vineyards just to the east. Using the same chardonnay grape and decades of experience they offer a more affordable but equally rewarding white burgundy. Crisp citrus fruit flavours, lightly swathed in smoky oak and the stony character of the region lingers in the aftertaste. Great with fish, seafood and poultry such as turkey. |
