A seductive and imposing fine champagne cognac of 80% grande champagne (structure), and 20% petite champagne (floral aspect), of dark gold and is 100% natural (no caramel). A very elegant nose with some nuances of smoked whisky, but richer and more complex thanks to aromas of oak, vanilla, candied apricot but also pastry and white flowers. Further aromas of hazelnut, nutmeg marmalade, ginger and rancio. On the palate there is no burn from alcohol despite 43% abv and can be drunk neat or on ice. Chic and modern, in a highly styled angular decanter with a weighted metal closure, the ultra smooth glass of the contemporary bottle showing of the xo cognac inside. |
