The shiraz goes through its alcoholic fermentation in tank and then part of the wine goes through malolatic fermentation in barrel. Altozano's winemaker ages 25% of the wine in a mixture of french, american and hungarian oak barrels for three months. Oak 3 months in a mixture of 225 and 500l french, american and hungarian oak barrels. Soft, rich and ripe shiraz with cherry aromas and spicy plum and raspberry fruit flavours. Ideal with pizza, pasta with tomato sauces, and red meats. |
