The weingut künstler is releasing some stunning wines at present. With the wonderful climatic conditions in 2001 there is little surprise that this is a superb wine. Künstler's wines are generally quite rich and sweet for their appellations and so this spätlese could easily be mistaken for an auslese. It has intense citrus riesling flavours and striking acidity and will age for upwards of a decade. |
