Grüner veltliner is austria's foremost white grape variety. With aromas similar to pinot gris, grüners range from quite acidic and very dry to more lush and concentrated, with an almond and pear flavour. The felsner family have a small estate in one of the best dry wine regions - kremstal - and they produce this generous white wine that is a versatile match to almost any sort of food. Try with fish, cheese, pork casseroles, chicken, duck or guinea fowl. |
